太阿，宝剑名。太阿倒持指手持剑刃，以柄向人。比喻授人以权柄，反受其害。《幼学琼林・卷三・人事类》：“下强上弱，曰尾大不掉；上权下夺，曰太阿倒持。”亦作“倒持泰阿”。
